Does contain an abuse of MOO, so make sure to enable Move Objects On before placing the lot! I may have a slight addiction to doing 1×2 (or is it 2×1? I can never remember which is supposed to be first) closets.įinally, out back there’s a nice sitting area and grill, along with some hobby items. If you can’t trust the color filter, just what can you trust? The same can be said for misc comfort and those bar stools. Through the bathroom is the laundry room.įun fact: when you filter cabinets for “blue” the Parenthood cabinets do not appear. The bathroom may be the most in your face blue room in the whole house with its vibrant Spa Day walls. That coffee table claims to be blue–it’s under the blue filter and everything–and who was I to disagree? Out front, there’s a little patio with a cozy little sitting area. My favorite color is purple, but the Sim Supply proved very well that that was not a good color to do this challenge with. If you hadn’t guessed already, I decided to go with blue. But I tried to stay as true to the challenge as possible. Like many other people, I’ve been inspired by the Solid Color Challenge. This build uses NO CC but does use an abundance of MOO, so make sure to turn Move Objects on before placing. Stepping down from the porch you reach the long pier which ends in two simple lounge chairs looking off into the beautiful view of the ocean. Like I could end it without including lounge chairs? Out on the back porch is a simple little sitting area (hey, I finally found a use for those flip-flop lights), and the laundry wash bin. And now I’ll actually use ceiling fans since we have normal-looking ones. The fans are from this pack and the lights are the single hanging bulbs from Laundry Day. You may also notice the two ceiling fans with lights in this build. The bedroom area is my favorite part of this build. The bedroom is separated from the rest of the house by two room dividers (thanks ALT key!). I was kinda going for a starter home but then I had to use that expensive new shower and threw that idea out of the window. The bathroom is through that heckin neat new door and, well, it’s a bathroom. It’s so neat, and yes, that door and the chair next to it are fully functional.

Don’t ask how they’ll avoid wetting those clothes when the tide comes in.

Just a few palm trees on the beach for plants and a clothes line along the side. As soon as I saw this distressed wood wallpaper, I knew the first thing I was building. Welcome to the Secret Chic Beach House, a one bed/one bath ocean-front property available for just under 30,000 simoleons.
SIMS 4 RESIDENTIAL LOTS REAL LIFE HOW TO
Boy howdy, it’s been a while, huh? Do I still remember how to write a blog post? Let’s blow the dust off of this thing and find out.
